FTL Finance (“Finance”) is a division of FTL Capital Partners, LLC (“Partners”), a wholly owned subsidiary of FTL Capital, LLC (“Capital”), merchant banking firm that invests capital and uses its expertise to help businesses grow profitably over the long term. Capital is owned by Thomas J. Hillman & Paul D. Melnuk (“Managing Principals”), who have extensive executive operating experience in a variety of businesses, large and small.
Partners was formed in February 2002 for the purpose of acquiring Thomas Leasing Company, a company that provided HVAC financing since 1996. This acquisition was the first step toward building a national specialty finance business. Since 2002, Finance has had consistent profitable organic growth by focusing on exceptional customer service, efficient processes, and the development of long term dealer relationships.
Partners is conservatively capitalized and has access to additional capital through Capital and its owners.
